Happy 60th to my sweetie!
We had a lovely day doing only what my sweetie wanted. It started with a sleep in, paper & coffee in bed, big breakfast at fabulous chain 'Cora's' then off to a matinee movie that he wanted to see 'White Boy Rick' - a true and very sad story. It was a private screening - there was no one else there, we had the whole theatre to ourselves. Home for presents, cards, a few phone calls & beer in his new 'retirement stein'. Then dinner out at Snug Harbour' a cool restaurant right on the water in pretty Pt Credit, watching the sun set on Lake Ontario. Then home for the chocolate cake he had hoped for and a few more phone calls...he was definitely feeling the love. I bought him a string of gifts over the past couple months since we 1st started to celebrate with the final one being a manly watch/cufflink jewellry case. We didn't realize he had collected 7 watches over the span of his 33 year working career! It was a perfect day - exactly as he had hoped it would be!
