Low Tide at Locust Beach

Had a lovely time with my younger daughter, E, this afternoon. We had lunch at a restaurant with a view across the water to Lummi Island -- that's it in the photo. Afterwards we went for a walk on Locust Beach, just a couple of miles north of town. We only saw a couple of people -- hard to believe on such a beautiful day.

Extras are E in the entrance of a makeshift shelter, and a beautiful table made from found materials. I especially like the contrast of the madrona branch supports with the cedar top.
