Spying on nature
The post arrived today with a new gadget, an infrared IP camera. It's a snazzy little thing and we had fun today watching our garden on the smart phone whilst out for a walk a few miles away. Endless fun...
The problem has arisen when it gets dark. We thought we could put the camera inside on the kitchen window sill and point it outside. Of course, the infrared light kicks in then the camera films the reflection of the light in the window. Big rethink going on now. Outdoor housing and the like to consider. More expense.
Life used to be so simple before we had to have gadgets to do everything!!!
I remember filming The Beatles on Top of the Pops on the telly with my trusty Kodak Super 8 camera. I used to be ecstatic with the results, even though there was this annoying line moving down through the picture and camera shake got the better of me. And no sound of course. Well it was nearly 50 years ago...
Enough, back to cracking the infrared problem. Thinking cap on...
