Respect

Went to see Joan Armatrading at the Usher Hall. Great concert - she was her own support, playing her new album in its entirety for the first half and then some highlights from her extensive back catalogue when she came back after the break. Pretty impressive for someone in her late sixties. My favourite among many was her first encore - The Weakness in Me. They asked for no photos to be taken, which seemed to be well observed (was it because it was a largely older audience, brought up in pre-digital times?), hence this non-concert concert blip. I wasn't the only one!
