And now for something completely different!

Today we travelled from Lake Louise to Banff. Another hectic day with a great walk first thing from the iconic Fairmont Chateau up to the Lake Agnes Tea House via the Mirror Lake and the cascading waterfalls and then a drive on the old road to Banff.

We had a conducted tour from Banff museum to places of interest and to St George’s in the pines Church one of the oldest in Banff but still only circa 100 years.

So why no views today? Well it’s easy to get mountained  out and  when I saw the  modern images captured in the stained glass of St George’s reflecting the interest of the people and the visitors to what we felt was the best town in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, I thought this was my chance to break the mould.....if you see what I mean!
