Mischief makers

My first day doing my new hours today. Was nice only doing 5 hours. Even better saying goodbye for the day at only 2:30! Haha! Not sure how I’m going to feel by the end of the week though having done 5 days...

Alexander doesn’t seem to be settling at school quite as well as we thought. I asked him how his day was and he said “bad. I cried 3 times”. I think he’s been putting a brave face on things but actually is treading water underneath. He’s been very emotional at home swinging from being quite rude and naughty to having total toddler style tantrums. It’s not like him at all. My poor boy I hope he settles soon.

This afternoon we went to the library for the reading challenge presentation. Alexander cried and didn’t want to join in, but did get up when his name was called even though he was terrified. They were both really pleased with their certificates and medals and can’t wait to do it again next summer.
