Halls Fell Ridge

Described by one A.Wainwright as the finest route to a summit in the Lake District.

I wrote recently about my own road to recovery and that the doing of a thing wasn't the challenge, repeating it is. 

Today was a psychologically tough day for B. and it had some physical challenge too, its a long ridge. It's been a real pleasure to be out with B. to see him face his demons. There's no silver bullet, no quick fix, but today he put another chain on the box, another step towards ownership. He dug deep and he breathed deep and he stuck to it. That's what winners do.
I've a feeling he'll be back, the mountains will call.

A more annoying end to the day in extras. Prince has been a very naughty boy. We'll wait and see what the van doctor has to say..
