Playing False
The RHS Wisley had one of their early morning openings days for Photographers, so I set the alarm and dragged myself out of bed to arrive shortly after 7:30am for a wander round the garden with virtually no people to get in the way.
Later I headed into the Pinenatum and was delighted to spot several species of fungi popping up. This one had me puzzled, but I eventually tracked it down as a False Chanterelle (I think!), and not edible unlike the reportedly delicious true Chanterelle. The extra shows its young form.
Now I need to sort out the rest of the 250 odd photos I took....
