An absolutely glorious day...

...in the Dales of Yorkshire. We came across Lucky, the three legged cow doing a charity walk. She was half way and had stopped for a breather. We donated a shilling or two to her chosen cause (something to do with mental health or corned beef, not sure which). We wished her well then pushed on through to the farm shop in Airton that featured on a TV series with Tom Kerridge (celebrity chef) then to the bustle that was Skipton. Some say it is grim up north, I found it all rather agreeable, apart from the idiot motorcyclists who seem hell bent on finishing their day(s) in the back of an ambulance.

Currently enjoying a glass of my favourite Shiraz on the veranda watching the sun go down whilst* eating something cheesey from Booths supermarket. By 'eck it's grim right enough.

*My apologies for 'whilst'. I blame the Shiraz, as for extolling the virtues of Yorkshire while staying in Lancashire I shall lay abed with ill ease this night.
