The forecast called for a high of 90F (32C) today - quite a difference from what we left in Manchester (!), and not exactly normal for Cincinnati at this stage in September, so we got out for a bike ride after breakfast, before it got too hot. I managed 18 miles today, which I was quite pleased with, not having been on my bike for 7 or 8 weeks. Despite the temperature, it felt quite autumnal along the bike trail, with a sprinkling of fallen leaves covering the trail in places, and clumps of Goldenrod from time to time at the edge of the trail - a sure sign that Fall/Autumn is coming. Otherwise, the day was spent with laundry and other household jobs, before going out to Handbells and choir in the evening.
