Getting the juice

Again the first part of the day was trimming the fruit trees in the garden to make them wind proof.  It was much better than yesterday as the weather was quite good and not too cold.

After lunch time we went to see Wendy, who had offered to put the apples we had from our smallest tree through the press.  It was amazing to see how much juice came from the two buckets.  We cannot thank her enough.  

We went to have a look at Tony's allotment area - wow!! He also has a lot more apples to process and I must admit I have never seen apples so large before.  

Back home to put the juice into the freezer with a bottle in the fridge to drink over the next few days.
