Deep in Thought
The MNQ (Monday Night Quiz to those in the know) came a calling & we could not turn it down. Just cos my limbs are barely working & I can hardly string an un-hobbled stride together after yesterdays Spartan shenanigans, it's not fair my brainbox misses out. Oh no!
None of 'Team Rob Rises' objected to me whipping the camera out & so, lost in concentration, contemplation & collusion, I captured our mid picture round intellectual musings. It's quite something to behold.
We had all our tools to hand: pens, paper & beer. It was textbook.
To cut a long story of a very tight contest short, we came very close on a couple of rounds & in the end we darn well came 2nd by just a couple of points... if only we'd got '1989' for Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, & 'Earth, Wind & Fire' for the song September!
At the Office, change is afoot. Us 'new' temps have been split up, sadly as we have been getting on very well together as a mini 'lost-not a clue what we are doing' team, into different mini 'semi-knowing what they're doing' teams. I mean it really wasn't a big change; largely we all did nothing, as before, but we just did it in different parts of the department. However slow though, things are moving forward, so we'll have to watch this space.
Miracles do happen.
And we'll win the quiz one day.
