First touch of gold
A day largely spent preparing for the first indoor meeting of the Peterborough Local Group of the Wildlife Trust, as I rather belatedly realised the display needed updating. I did manage to squeeze in a walk to the river, and noticed that the first few golden leaves had appeared on my favourite grove of birch trees.
The evening talk was on 'Hedgehogs', a very popular subject, which produced a pleasing turn-out, particularly as many members tend to still be away on holiday in September. We implemented our new procedures, which have been necessitated by the GDPR, and everything ran very smoothly. Hopefully I'll be a bit better prepared next month!
