Above the weir

This one was taken on Sunday on a dark and wet afternoon.

The shapes in the wall  opposite reveal the former position of a sluice gate above the weir.

The camera was placed in a rather risky position ( for the camera not me) to get this as I put it at arms reach through a fence and right to the edge of the wall. Time delayed shutter of 1/4 second seemed to capture it perfectly.

For the record. TV highlights in the evening were The Bodyguard (modern serial not old Hollywood movie) on BBC1 against ITV's new adaptation of Vanity Fair.    Both well worth watching.
