Wild Boar Family in Sicily

Captured on a pre-breakfast jaunt from our Agriturismo to the high plateau we visited yesterday afternoon. Our main objective both times was the rock partridge, but we struck out both times (it is very difficult to see at best). We consoled ourselves with this family of wild boars, and (in the extra) a fallow deer with impressive antlers.  The rest of the day  we took a long circuit in the region, concluding with a visit to Castelbuono, which featured the Madice Vecchia-- a church with wonderful frescos.
