Power to all my friends

Yes, the linemen & women are awesome. They have been working tirelessly in 90°F heat and humidity with all their gear, to get our power restored.

At about 5:30pm today our power came on! Oh how sweet it is!

Our little bridge over the creek survived yet another storm but the creek bank has been washed away. We will have to do some serious thinking about what needs to be done to the creek going forward.

This morning as I sat in my chair on the porch, this hummingbird came to have a drink at the feeder that was just about right over my head.

After 7 days of high stress levels, I won’t be jumping up to suddenly get my house back in order tomorrow but I will slowly make inroads on it.
