Plums

Last night a friend who is about to set off for a three week holiday brought some plums from the tree in his garden. We've also been given windfall apples so I need to get cracking on cooking and baking with them.

The weather is terrible today with the promised rain and high winds. A day in the house with the three year old beckons.
