Salem's Riverfront Carousel
Jill and I are carousel enthusiasts. When we learned that there was a carousel in Salem, about 45 minutes from my mom, we jumped on the opportunity.
This carousel was built in 2001 and has 40 hand-carved wooden horses and figures. This is Bucky, which I rode on. It's a popular horse, and all its magnets were sold out. I had to buy another horse's magnet. The carousel costs $1.50 to ride. It even has a ring machine, though it wasn't active today because they needed another employee for it.
It was really fun.
In extras are a cow being carved and some more carousel photos.
