Boats in the fog
Our morning in Brixham was grey and wet. The old fishing barges in the harbour looked atmospheric in the mist.
My daughter and son in law had to work this morning so we were up bright and early and had a walk downhill in the rain to the sea. It's about ten minutes from their house - this is my dream.
We walked around the harbour and then returned uphill to our car for our next destination . We had a beautiful drive along the coastal road , spent a couple of hours in Dawlish, and eventually arrived at our holiday appartment in Lyme Regis. It's a great place, very spacious overlooking the sea from the decked patio.
We had a walk along the beach and a beer/wine sitting on a terrace adjacent to the sea looking at the sunset over the cliffs. We walked back through the gardens and my extra is taken from there.
