Diary of an Edinburgher

Packing!

Jordan and his wife, Sarah came to take Archie out today and they all had fun in the Hermitage.

I then cut the grass for the last time, probably, this year, before heading off over the Links to show Wendy a shorter Archie walk. We popped into Montpelier's for a rather nice lunch, too.

I took the bus down to Tolcross to get some shoe polish, while the others walked home via more shops. I was in and out of the shop to get the next bus home, which was due in two minutes. Love that. Archie had a shower while Wendy watched how to do it. Really it's normally just his legs and beard that need doing if he's been muddy.

Rufus and his mum popped in for a gin in the afternoon. Christine is rather fed up, to say the least, with all the noise and dust. But I’d say it's past the worst now. Maybe.

Spoke to Uncle A, who had a very successful trip to France, travelling on his own, with NO hiccups. He was well pleased with his adventure.

Right. Packing. Off on holiday to (slightly) warmer climes tomorrow.
