On Golden Aire

Early start to get over to Cleckheaton for Mr P to run the 10K race there. The race also incorporated the Northern Masters Championships which basically recognises older athletes in different age groups.Mr P had never signed up to be affiliated to this organisation as he always felt they were designed for ex elite athletes.
Well he only went and won his age category but couldn’t become the champion so guess who will be signing up to be a Master tomorrow!
Went to the cinema late afternoon, meeting Elaine there, we saw King Of Thieves and enjoyed it, especially the performance from Michael Cane.
We saw The Children’s Act on Friday too so our cinema season has begun:-)
Now home, just eaten and getting ready for The Bodyguard then Vanity Fair on catch up.
My photograph is of the Industrial Museum in Leeds cited directly behind the cinema complex at Kirkstall, talk about two different worlds.
I liked how the sun on the River Aire bounced onto the museum and river.
