Second day of Transition

We were at kinder bright and early today, Lara starting from the start of the day with all the kinder kids, she was so excited to come back and again and see everyone and to see Rose. Rose had promised to show her the bubble job that we had run out of time to do yesterday. Lara was bursting with excitement this job was well and truly right up her ally. Lara first had to grate some soap into some warm water, then with a straw blow in to the bowl creating masses of over flowing bubble!!!! I had to laugh as she sucked up a few times and got a mouth full of soapy liquid, that just adding to the fun and her having fits of giggles. Lara had made a friend and was sharing this job with a little boy and they were laughing away like a pack of hyenas so nice to see, This kept the going for a while, with it overflowing everywhere and them going nuts.

Lara's other favourite job, squeezing orange juice, cutting up the orange by herself and squeezing herself some juice. Lara was involved in snack time today, lining up with all the other kids and selecting what she wanted, then going and sitting back down, it honestly looked like she had been there from the start of the year, she had the routine down, and not even needing me there.

Today was italian day, where the kids learnt italian, Lara loved this, sitting in a circle around the lady singing songs in italian,and learning fruit in italian, I am not sure she got what was going on but it kept her entertained. Sadly it was time to leave half way through italian, They had swimming today and only did a half day.
Miss Lara was very upset, wanting to finish off Italian and have a lunch time play again.

I spoke to rose and Lara can join in tomorrow with out me there, she doesn't need me and is happy and settled already. The question will be will she come out of kinder to do her art class which she does on Wednesday????
