Down to the allotment in the morning and lifted the carrots. For once the dreaded carrot-fly did not decimate them!
It was one of my gardening targets for this year to grow carrots so well pleased. However, they were really for Dylan!
I also planted some carrots at home and they also did well. In both cases, I surrounded the carrots with a very fine mesh.
I’ve hardly seen a ladybird this year so was delighted to see this group on my carrot leaves.
( I reckon I should get a prize for mentioning “carrots” more often than anyone else in Blip)
