Cushie doo

Quite a busy, but enjoyable, weekend.
We had friends staying with us last night so a little “tired” today.
Our son was also home, so all in all, rather fine.
I was sitting in the garden hoping a butterfly would land on our Joe, no joy there, when this wood pigeon landed on one of our trees.
I’m not sure I’ve seen one in our garden before so a very welcome visitor.
We call them cushie doos up here.
It looks like he’s sitting amongst a lot of very small brussel sprouts but I think they’re a kind of cone.
