Casco Viejo

We arrived in Bilbao after a remarkably efficient journey.  We were in our hotel, adjacent to the Guggenheim, (of which more anon) just 25 minutes after the plane was due to land. We headed out to the old town - the Casco Viejo - for a traditional evening of grazing around the bars drinking beer and wine and eating pintxos (pronounced "pinchos.") Delicious and amazingly good value.

Plenty of colourful sights, interesting street art and people watching people watching people.
