Port de Pollenca

After more dramatic overnight thunderstorms and heavy rain three of the five of us got up early and set off to walk to Port de Pollenca. It was a lovely morning and it was great to see the mountains but walking along the main road was very busy. Took us about 75 minutes from the villa. Once we reached the sea we wandered along the Pine Walk to the Port de Pollenca branch of the chain Cappuccino. It's a holiday tradition and treat to have coffee and cake in one of the branches though we always have to remind ourselves how expensive it is. The boat has not been pushed out this year so we had a lovely breakfast watching people go by. Back in the bus and into the pool. Time to think about a walk in Pollenca town which, despite not being by the sea, I much prefer to the Port.
