Cascata delle Marmore

This morning we visited the large waterfalls which are part of the hydro electricity system. These falls are only switched on for short periods and the times vary. Fortunately our leader had established where this would be and we headed there first thing. Later we visited Terni and Spolleto. One handy feature of the Umbrian hill towns is the escalators which have been installed to take people up the hill from the car parks at the bottom.
