Santa Maria degli Angeli

This church is the seventh largest church in the world and is at the bottom of the hill before you climb up to the main part of Assisi. As well as Assisi we visited Perugia and Spello. It would have been good to have had more time in Assisi. By the time we had had some lunch it was time to walk back to the coach park. Once on the coach we stopped for half an hour so that we could look around this church. No photography allowed inside.

It has been very hot today with temperatures in the mid 30s degC.
