Delphi

After checking out of the hotel this morning we went on a walking tour of the agora where I took the photo I've added as an extra; a shot of the Hephaisteion taken from within the restored 2nd century BC Stoa of Attalos. After lunch our coach took us to Delphi. The journey was about three hours so we are saving the main visit for tomorrow but we went down to see the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia shown here, which is a free entry.

Now in our Delphi hotel which is much more modest than our grand Athens affair, but just as lovely in it's own way and we have the most amazing view from our room down several miles to the Gulf of Corinth.
