A line of apple trees

Hurray, at last the above was posted. This is the view towards the donkeys, goats and pig, the evening sunshine catching the trees although their trunks look ‘off perpendicular’ in this. Or perhaps it’s my editing. A local neighbour suggested we use the fruit to make apple jelly, he cut one into half and thought it best to leave for a week or so. The plum chutney looks good, one batch was taste tested and is fine, the second lot made with more spice and included a fat clove of garlic, yet to be tried.

The kitten is growing stronger and more adventurous, he is wonderful although not accepted by the three older cats and we can see the dog prefers to be favourite.
