Canada Day 10
We were up early to catch the gondola up to the top of Sulphur Mountain, so named because of, yes, you guessed it, the sulphur springs discovered in the 1800's.
The views were stunning, see main blip and Extras
After this we had time to wander round Banff and a trip to the Bow Falls before we got back on the coach to head Johnston Canyon and the stunning Moraine Lake. This lake was caused naturally when the glacier melted at the end of the last ice age and dumped a whole load of rocks it was pushing/carrying into the river.
We then headed over to Lake Louise for a wander round the lake before arriving at Lake Louise Village for our overnight stay.
