Spot The Bird

A pied wagtail blending in with the moss and lichen encrusted corrugated asbestos roof of the barn next door.

It was lovely to have our granddaughter join us for dinner.  The new term has started at the local centre where she works to help young people on the autistic spectrum. I made chicken with a soupy sauce using MrQ's tasty beef tomatoes. She has always loved soup and lots of sauce. We used to call her Soup Dragon when she was little. Ollie dog and I picked blackberries, cooked them with apple and topped the fruit with meringue for pudding.
