Squiggly Stubble, Staring Deer

Ollie dog and I went for a walk at Lodge Farm this afternoon. We met lovely dogs Willow and Flash. Flash, the dog nobody wanted, was very friendly towards Ollie but she wasn't impressed and gave out a little growl. Willow barked in support of Flash.

We stood near the farmhouse looking across the valley in the fresh breeze. Three deer spotted us and stared, even though they were a long way away in the valley bottom. The squiggly stubble stretched up the hill.

Further on we caught sight of a hare. I got a mediocre shot. Lovely to see one. The last I photographed was dead sans head.
