Bank Hall Snowdrops

This is an annual trip for us in February. Firstly beacause it is Ciaran's 12th birthday (we have call him the Snowdrop baby) and secondly because the Snowdrops in the grounds of Bank Hall at Bretherton are stunning. For about 3 weeks the woodland floor is carpeted. Some of the species are unique in Britain with many hybrids identified. Not the best day for pictures as it was really grey and overcast so I've gone for an off angle shot. I'll be going again next week hopefully with better weather.
