Wedge Pond

Day One proper of two weeks in the Rockies.  We have three other blippers on the trip, ably led by JohnGravett along with DavidC and KenH.  We hope to convince others to join us on our travels.

Today we re-located to Cranmore from our Calgary airport hotel.  It was our introduction to the Rockies, entering via a pass.  We made a slight detour to drive over the highest road pass in the area at 2206 metres.  Today's shot was from one of many stops along the way.  It shows Mount Kidd and its South Peek in the background.  I must credit Lovely Deb, our new Mrs Gravett, who had walked around the pond and suggested this position for a shot.
