Duckett's Grove...
Two Days of Nostalgia were held in Duckett's Grove, the 18th century home of the Duckett family for over 300 years, now a rambling ruin. Lots to see and do...carriage rides, birds of prey, hunting hounds and their master, bee keeping, butter churning, bread making, weaving, children and parents dressed in clothes from a century ago, steam engines, treasure hunts...and delicious cakes and buns made by local women's guilds...
you can see the mother in main picture still has firm hold of her phone !
extras show the house, some great music from local girls, and some gorgeous carriage horses.
