All fired up
This afternoon we went to Llanymynech Heritage Area. Although we go there regularly there were things happening as part of the National heritage Open days so thought that we'd pop over and have a look.
We went on a free ride on a canal boat along the restored part of the Montgomery Canal. It made a change to see it from the water instead of the towpath.
Afterwards we went to the line kiln area where they had fired up the facsimile lime kiln. I liked the effect of the smoke but wouldn't have wanted to sit in it like the men on the picnic bench!
