A jumble of parts

The church service was delayed as the vicar was giving the first clue on a local radio programme which has a car driving around the county following cryptic clues given to the public and listeners. I had thought of going to a threshing fair afterwards but a parishioner asked me to pop round to look at a clock.  I ended up taking it back with me to service.  It is a rather fine Victorian visible escapement marble mantel clock or at least it will be if I get it all back together working properly.
