Waiting

I took a short walk up to the Army ranges at the end of my road in the hope of seeing the deer,  which are the only non-military mammals allowed to roam the barbed wire surrounded site.


There was no sight of them, but on the way back I spotted this little dog sitting on a stone at the edge of a car drive, perhaps waiting for its owner?  A suitable entry for the Silly Saturday challenge I thought!
