Inverness Beach

We haven't been over to the west side of the island for a couple of years and i was reminded of how much i love this beach and posed the question WHY???   what a lovely couple of hours we spent this afternoon, sitting watching the waves and of course people watching.   I had forgotten to bring a book and so amused myself some of the time by playing with my camera and the waves....i have taken thousands of wave images.....i do end up deleting lots of them, but i had to keep one for my blip...see extra.

we also met this interesting couple ... see extra....who lived not far from us, and were collecting what he called 'rolled quartz' which they were laying in their garden!  pretty interesting, he had a huge knap sack full of them!!!

i also managed a 40 minute (slow) walk along the beach, it felt glorious!

After a lovely drive the long way home, we stopped in at our favorite Scottish place....The Auld Brass Door....and it didn't disappoint.
