A satisfying day of getting things done broken up by the occasional moment of gazing out of the window. Most of the traffic on the Cop today consisted of college students in their shiny blue lanyards and everybody else tutting at them for getting in the way. Standard September antics. I know the lady who deals with communication for the college and most of her inbox at this time of year will be made up of complaints from members of the public.

Wednesday means an early start and an early end to the day which meant that I could do a final training run in the sunshine. I feel like Sunday's race would be a billion times easier if I stopped stuffing my face with chocolate and biscuits.
