Me, Mowgli and the back of the island

Cold Toes - definitely a new season.  Only 7degrees at 6.30am for this  morning's swim.  My toes only got cold when I got out of the water.  

Did you ever notice how freshly cut long grass smells differently to freshly cut short grass? 

This is another selfie for the challenge.  Also available in colour, I couldn't decide.
