1961 Ford Galaxie Starliner

I hadn't taken many pictures today, so I was mildly excited when I pulled behind this car as I left my house. You could tell by the sound that the car had something "serious" under the hood. Every turn that I was planning to take...the car took.

I decided that if the car turned into Home Depot (where I was going) that I was going to "corner" him for a picture. He did.

It was funny. I knew the guy, and, in fact...had just talked to him two weeks earlier about his cars. He was going into the store, and told me to snap away.

I love the wideness and the details of the car. He also told me that there wasn't enough money that anyone could offer...that would buy it away from him.

It was purty, but perhaps I should have moved my red van out of the picture. ;0)
