LOTUS?

Actually it's a rather lovely water lily who lives in the artificial pond outside our Hôtel de Ville.

I went there today to apply for Belgian citizenship.

Silly me - I presented myself at 14h00 & the kind lady said that that shouldn't be a problem, but the office I needed had closed a 13h30!

Shall go back early tomorrow - shall be gloriously late for work, but the good thing about being ancient & quite good at what I do is that I can choose when & if I do it!
