People like having their picture taken

Traveling alone, even if it is just to hike, is a great way to make friends. 

Offering to take pictures of people with your fancy looking camera and email them to people is a great way to make friends.

Well, at least to have positive social interactions.

Met two very neat people, one immigrated from Venezuela and one from Bolivia. We might go hiking together again, but at a different location, which is good because I've been to this one an awful lot. They kindly let me practice some Spanish with them. 

I got to play with my filters. 

I did forget my hat. I do have a little burn now.
