Just Another Pretty Face

Pipersdad was making clucking noises to try to get this Turkey Vulture to turn around.  It worked, but for a second I thought he was going to come after us.  Just stretching his huge wings, though, which made me happy.  His wingspan is wider than I am tall (up to 67 inches).  As ugly as their little heads are, they are beautifully graceful in flight.

I am grateful for our lovely walk together this morning. :-))
