Variegated Meadowhawk

I made a quick trip to the pond where I usually find dragonflies and I wasn't disappointed.  I needed an EB and decided it was probably quicker to go to the pond than try to find something around the house.  Doesn't she look like she's smiling for the camera?

I am grateful to MaryElizaR for sharing her apple cake recipe.  I baked it today and it turned out great! :-)
