Towards

the end of its life.  The sweet peas at Knightshayes, a NT property we visited today, were on their final fling. Only half a dozen blooms were still hanging on.
The glorious walled vegetable/fruit/flower garden gave many opportunities for snapping. I put a bee, one of many seen, in extras! They were also having a final fling.
