Well, we were very excited today - going to Mercedes-Benz World in Brooklands to test drive a couple of E-Class estates.

First up was the older design,  a 2015 black model... looked nice outside, looked nice inside - was like driving something very big and very heavy.

Next up was the current design - a 2017 polar white version. Again, very nice inside and out - and the drive lighter and more responsive.

But we didn't love either of them enough - partly down to the terrible sound system, but mostly because they just weren't us.
