A Quiet Moment to Reflect
After climbing the hill from Shepshed Marketplace where I'd gone to buy a joint for Sunday roast, Basil and I paused at the Remembrance Garden opposite the church. It seemed a good spot to take a breather in the warm sunshine.
The names on the seat are familiar but I can't place them.
Once home, we packed up ready to drive to Leicester for dinner with George, Kat and William and a games night. George managed to win the Trivial Pursuit, although I was in the lead for most of the time. All the luck of the draw with the questions.
Then a thoroughly good night's sleep in our old bed which graces their spare bedroom.
